Paris Hilton is an American celebrity and heiress
to the Hilton fortune. Paris' great-grandfather,
Conrad Hilton, was the founder of the Hilton
hotel chain. Her grandfather, Barron Hilton, is
the chairman and is said to have a fortune worth
about $1 billion, of which Paris is expected to
inherit a little over $50 million.
Paris Hilton was born on February 17, 1981.
She spent most of her time growing up in the
world famous Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in
Manhattan. Of course, Paris doesn't live in just
one place. Her family currently owns a $10
million house in Beverly Hills, a $6.3 million
house in New York state, and a $3 million house
in the Hollywood Hills.
Paris and her younger sister Nikki are known for
their jet-set lifestyles and carefree party-girl
attitudes. Paris' love live has been anything but
quiet. She has dated Leonardo DiCaprio, actor
Edward Furlong, boxer Oscar De La Hoya,
model Jason Shaw, football player Brian
Urlacher, and singers Rob Mills, Deryck
Whibley, and Backsteet Boy Nick Carter.
Paris is most famous for her appearance in the
documentary-like reality show, The Simple Life.
The show aired on MTV and was a big hit. Paris
can most recently be seen in the so-so horror
film House of Wax.
In February of 2005 the contents of Paris' cell
phone were stolen and posted on the Internet.
The information included the e-mail addresses
and phone numbers of celebrities such as
Christina Aguilera, Fred Durst, Eminem, Lindsay
Lohan, Jay-Z, Anna Kournikova, Snoop Dogg,
Andy Roddick, Avril Lavigne, Frankie Muniz,
and Ashlee Simpson. These celebs recieved
thousands of calls from star-crazed fans.
Needless to say, they weren't happy.
